PRP INJECTIONS

Stimulate collagen and elastin to help restore a smooth, healthy glow.

Rejuvenate your skin with Ultra-Pure PRP injections! Ultra-Pure PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections utilize the natural healing properties found in platelets to improve the appearance and health of skin.

Platelet Rich Plasma helps repair damaged skin cells while stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Injecting Ultra-Pure PRP into facial areas that are beginning to lose elasticity and volume can restore the skin to a smooth, healthy glow.

PRP is frequently used in soft tissue, joint or bone injures to help promote the healing of injured tissues. It is just as effective for facial rejuvenation, reducing fine lines, improving volume loss, and the tone and texture of the skin. Ultra-Pure PRP isolates the plasma, resulting in an increased concentration of platelets with 5 to 10 times more growth factor proteins. The injections place the Ultra-Pure PRP into the deeper layer of the skin. The highly concentrated proteins of Ultra-Pure PRP are essential for the healing process, helping boost the body’s ability to repair damaged skin cells, stimulate production of collagen and elastin and increase blood flow. PRP Injection FAQS

PRP, Platelet Rich Plasma, comes from your own blood. It is a concentration of one type of blood cell. Platelets contain growth factors, which help with tissue repair, regeneration of new cells and the stimulation of collagen. Applying platelet rich plasma to areas of injury help to reduce inflammation and promote rapid healing.

PRP Injections tighten the skin by improving collagen production, softening lines and wrinkles, and repairing age related damage. As you age, your body produces less collagen. Fine lines and wrinkles, crow’s feet, creases, and parentheses at the corners of the mouth are a result of the loss of collagen and elastin in the skin. Injecting a concentrated amount of platelets promotes cellular rejuvenation, improving the structural integrity and health of the skin.

As a facial rejuvenation treatment, PRP injections are quite safe. Because PRP comes from your own blood, there is no risk for rejection, allergic reaction, or infection.

Prior to the treatment, a registered nurse draws a small amount of blood. The blood sample is processed, separating the platelet rich plasma from the blood cells. The platelet rich plasma is injected in the areas designated for rejuvenation. These areas can include under the eyes, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, neck and hands. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes and is relatively pain free.

You can resume your normal activities after a PRP injection. You may experience some mild swelling, redness, or minor bruising following the treatment.

Most patients notice a change in their skin after one treatment, with improved radiance and luminosity. For optimal results, we recommend three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. Continued improvements in your skin occur in the following three months from continued stimulation of collagen and cellular repair. Results may last up to two years. Maintenance treatments may need to be scheduled every six to twelve months, depending on the individual.
