BBL PHOTOFACIAL USES LIGHT ENERGY.
Premier Skin Resurfacing Treatments
Your first BBL Photofacial really delivers! Years of sun damage rise to the surface. Exposure to environmental pollutants, harsh cleansers and signs of aging are targeted. You will notice a change in your skin the first week after your treatment. Your skin looks clear and healthy. What more could your skin ask for? How about another photofacial?
What is BBL Photofacial
BBL or BroadBand Light Therapy uses short blasts of high intensity light. The light energy gently heats up the top layers of skin. The targeted areas absorb the heat, stimulating skin cells to regenerate and produce new collagen. The light energy also eliminates tiny vessels that cause redness and reduces melanin that produce brown spots or pigmented lesions.
The result is younger-looking skin, more even in its tone and texture. BBL Photofacials can be used to treat:
- Freckles, brown spots, age spots
- Rosacea and redness
- Small fine blood vessels
- Fine lines and wrinkles
IT’S NOT ONE TREATMENT AND DONE
A scientific study conducted at Stanford University evaluated patients that received one to two BBL Photofacials a year over a 10-year period. Results revealed that their skin appeared to have not aged over that time span; they actually looked 10 years younger than their stated age. Interested in learning more? Read the study results. While your first BBL Photofacial may show the best visible results, it is the maintenance BBL Photofacials done year after year that keep your skin looking its best.
HOW OFTEN ARE TREATMENTS RECOMMENDED?
Maffi Clinics recommends a series of three BBL Photofacials treatments one month apart, depending on the condition of your skin. After the initial series, schedule a maintenance treatment every four to six months.

GREAT TREATMENT FOR ACNE SCARRING
BBL Photofacials can also treat acne and the discoloration from acne scarring. The light energy attacks the acne bacteria on the skin’s surface in the sebaceous glands. Targeting over active sebaceous glands can result in a reduction in acne, redness from acne breakouts and improve acne scarring.
